Kids Hope USA

One Child. One Hour. One School. One Church.
Are you interested in making a difference in the life of a child? Kids Hope USA is a national mentoring organization that matches one young child with one mentor for one hour each week during the school day. Gobin mentors are partnered with students from nearby Deer Meadow Primary School, Tzouanakis Intermediate School and Greencastle Middle School.

Become a Mentor
Becoming a mentor is a meaningful way to make a lasting difference in a child's life. Mentors are caring adults who commit to showing up consistently, offering encouragement, and building a supportive relationship.
To become a mentor, individuals complete a simple application process, background check, and training session. No special experience is required—just a willingness to listen, care, and invest in a child's growth.
Program Structure
The Kids Hope USA program is designed to be simple and sustainable for volunteers while creating consistent impact.
- Time Commitment: 1 hour per week
- Duration: One full school year
- Format: One-on-one mentoring with a student

This structure allows mentors and students to build trust and meaningful connection over time.

School Partnerships
Kids Hope USA partners with local elementary schools to provide mentorship for students who may benefit from additional support and encouragement.
Through this partnership, mentors meet with students on school grounds during the school day, creating a safe and familiar environment for connection and growth. Schools and church volunteers work together to ensure each child receives consistent care and attention.
